Warmth has never felt so cold

Spring time is here, which means for us SoCalers, if that's even a word, (we'll google it, though googling itself isn't really a word) BUT I DIGRESS, anyways, this means......well, almost absolutely nothing. Except for longer daylight hours, which is fabulous for fashion bloggers everywhere.

i.e:
FB: "Shoot gotta get a blog post ready"
FB: "oh wait, it's only 5, we've got 2 hours of daylight left to shoot"
Proceeds to laying on the couch doing nothing for another 2 hours (true story)

So how does this affect you, my fellow readers? Good question! It doesn't. JUST KIDDING. It means more pictures and blog posts with better content and better quality pictures. Still don't understand? Here's a fun equation that should help.

Longer daylight hours = more time to shoot pictures
More time to shoot pictures = more time to put together looks
More time to put together looks = different variations of the same boring outfit...

Hmm...well that didn't really work out in your favor now did it?

Anyways, now about this outfit. People often say, "You wear beanies, you must be a hipster." Wrong. There is huge difference in being hip and being a hipster. If you have a purpose for that beanie, BAM, suddenly the hipster label is no longer valid. Pretty simple no? Now this day was actually fairly cold, so the beanie was actually used to keep my ears and big head warm, as opposed to just...being there haha. Anyways, fair thee well readers. Leave a comment, they make me giggle inside.

On the set of "Already Gone"

Hey guys, Yoshi here, I've been really trying to further my career in stunts, which why you don't see me on Lookbook as much. But once in a while I'll post on there. And recently I stumbled onto on of the biggest jobs I've ever had. Usually I am just the stuntman taking falls for others or something like that, which I don't mind, in fact I love doing. But when I went to work for "Corridor Digital" for their new series I ran into a few old buddies of mine, the "EMC Monkeys" and we reconnected. They went on to hand me a this amazing new job where I was able to coordinate the stunts, meaning I was the one telling the stuntmen what to do and made sure everyone was safe, especially the actors. Guess who the actors were; Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) and Shawn Ashemore (Iceman from X-men) They were incredibly nice and we had a great time on set, I can't wait to work with them again. So please keep me in your prayers as I go towards my goal, thank you all of the support! Oh and more pictures to come later.

Interview with a Vampire

Through the dim lighting, she saw the figure of a man, his skin was pale and soft, "Good sir, you've spooked me! For a second I thought you were a vampire." His eyes were hooded by the shadow from his brows; he took a long pause before responding to her, "That's because, young lady, I am a vampire."

Geeez, I sure do miss reading all the Anne Rice Vampire books. Anyways, This look wasn't really vampire inspired, but while wearing this look, I got the comment, "You look like a vampire", so I figured...why not? :D I've been into the strangest things in fashion lately. Anyways I hope you guys like it, please leave a feedback in the comments! Because if you don't....

Lamb X Flag

Photos By: Bethany Struble             Shoes from: Very.com            Sweater by: Lamb & Flag

Collaboration with lookbook x Lamb and Flag. Bethany and I were going to LA when we found this amazing warehouse and we just could not resist...so we had a photoshoot. Anyways, this sweater has quickly become one of my favorite sweaters ever, like seriously...EVER. It's so soft and fits like a glove. This look was incredibly plain, but lately I've been inspired by more plain fashion styles. Don't worry though, crazier looks to come. Love you all!

It's LA fashion week and I'm prancing the streets looking like an 80s tango dancer. Maybe I am an 80s tango dancer. I'm not. Anyways, I went to my first runway show this past saturday hosted by Nami and Laili Lau. I must say, much more different than I though they were. It's always interesting to see the new fresh ideas of fashion. Inspirations all around. Love you all <3 leave me a comment!
